TERMS AND CONDITIONS - STATIONERY
Customers ordering stationery from Cherished Cards agrees to the following terms and conditions:
It is not permitted to copy or publish any part of Cherished Cards, including text, images, designs and products without prior consent from Cherished Cards. In addition you are responsible for ensuring you have permission to use any material you ask to include in your stationery.
Wedding stationery products are handmade and due to the nature of this there may be slight variations which occur occasionally from card to card. Although every effort is made to reproduce products accurately, this is not deemed as a fault.
Due to each product being handmade to order, Cherished Cards do not offer refunds on unwanted products. However, if in unusual circumstances any products arrive in an unsatisfactory condition due to our error, we will of course exchange or refund on the products effected.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check final proofs, you are responsible for the accuracy of text you supply and proof reading all text and copy we set out in the proofs. Work will not commence until we have received final approval. Once approved and work commences if any amendments are made after this, additional charges will apply to cover the costs of items already made. Please make sure all details are correct on personal information sent including names, places, times, location, table plan and text used.
If customer orders stationery in stages, we cannot guarantee continuity of designs or shades of products.
All delivery dates are estimates and we will make every effort to ensure delivery within the timescale given, although this is not guaranteed.
If a product arrives damaged, please inform us immediately by telephone or email. If we are not informed within 5 working days then we will not be able to offer a replacement.
Deposit and Payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit of the total order value will be required at the time of booking. The final balance will be due 1 week prior to delivery and will be calculated on your final numbers. Payment can be made by either cheque, cash or bank transfer.
In the event of any cancellation of stationery, Cherished Cards reserve the right to retain the deposits paid. If cancellation has been received prior to proofs being agreed, there will be no additional costs due other than the 50% deposit already paid. However, if cancellation is received after proofs have been agreed the full balance must be paid in full.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS – HIRED ITEMS
Please read this agreement carefully. Upon entering into this agreement, you the hirer, agreed to be bound by the terms within.
By placing an order either by telephone, email, Internet or any other method of communication, you have read, understood and agree to the following terms and conditions.
These are the only terms and condition upon which will form a binding contract with you. No alteration or substitution to these terms and conditions shall be valid unless agreed in writing by Cherished Cards.
Within these terms and conditions reference to “goods” or “items” shall include frames, easels, mini easels, stands, table plan stands, and any other items hired by you from Cherished Cards under the contract for hire agreement.
The period of hire covers 48 hours. It may be possible to extend the hire period where availability allows. Cherished Cards reserve the right to collect hired items after midnight following your event as products may or could be needed for re-hire and will be required for quick turnaround cleaning and prompt dispatch. Under these circumstances this collection time is non-negotiable. Cherished Cards reserve the right to collect at this time without prior discussion. Any items that are strapped or taped to products will be removed and left at the venue.
Cherished Cards reserve the right to substitute an item for an alternative due to delayed returns, items have been broken or lost items have occurred as a result of a previous customer order. If a substitution has to be made this will be communicated with you prior to the order being dispatched.
All goods hired should be fully pre-paid before the hire commences. Delivery will not be made until the full payment has been received.
A full refundable security deposit is required at the time of booking, the sum is dependent upon the value of the goods being supplied and is held as a deposit against the safe and prompt return of the goods under hire.
The replacement cost of all losses and damages will be taken from the security deposit. This action will not be taken without prior discussion with the client.
Substitute items will not be accepted and all damaged items remain the property of Cherished Cards and should therefore be returned.
If you wish to extend the length of the hire, please contact Cherished Cards in the first instance for availability and cost of the extended hire.
All goods remain the property of Cherished Cards, 28 Foxley Court, Christchurch Park, Sutton. SM2 5UE.
Deliveries and collections will be made in person by Cherished Cards, in some instances items can be collected from Cherished Cards by prior arrangement.
Local deliveries within a 10 mile radius is complimentary, outside of this will incur a charge depending on the location postcode and will be quoted for on an individual basis.
Please be aware that the goods remain your responsibility until they have been collected by Cherished Cards. You should therefore make every effort to ensure goods are kept dry and are retained in a secure place until this time.
When goods are returned badly damaged in any way Cherished Cards have the right to charge you the replacement cost, details of these charges are available upon request.
The hirer shall be solely responsible for the hired goods. Hotels/venues/florists/wedding planners or any other third party involvement will be exempt from the responsibility regarding the hired goods and will not be held accountable should any damage occur whilst in their possession.
Cherished Cards shall not be liable in respect of damages, injury, loss or any other damage incurred in respect of this hire, as a result of any defect or damage to the item and the customer shall satisfy the suitability, condition and placement of the equipment.
